Typical HI, but at least it's a hostel!
This is a traditional HI hostel with not a lot to commend it: a curfew, a small breakfast, a pathetic kitchen, and nominally single sex dorms, although they had a more flexible policy when full. But it is well located, 20 minutes walk from the Old Town and even nearer to a beach. There was a large school party there who were noisy at times, but they were no problem. But it WAS a hostel, of which there are not many in Croatia, and that meant a rare opportunity to meet up with other travellers. There was a great open air deck where you could hang out and chat, and some of us went to the pub together and linked up to travel to our next destinations. The staff seemed rather severe but were helpful when needed.
