Big, busy and sterile.
The hostel is about a 5 minute walk from the Bayswater tube station on the central line down a few sides streets and way from the noise. The place is really large and has a really small kitchen buried in the basement. There are a few large common areas, but all feel really sterile and hotel lobby-esque. The staff were friendly enough but live behind a busy reception desk geared to sell tours.
