Good place.
The hostel was quite clean, well organised and it had a friendly atmosphere. We booked via fax and when we arrived a very kind girl gave us all the
information we needed: fares, rules of the hostel, possibility of leaving our baggage in the luggage room and our valuable things in a safe (for free).
She also let us see the room, even if it was the time of the lock-out. The area of the hostel was very quiet and safe and it also had a lot of facilities
around: Supermarket, baker's shop, laundry and internet (which was in the hostel too). I just advise you against the pizza shop in front of the hostel.
We're Italian and we ate the worst pizza of our lives for 10 euros (they put brie instead of mozzarella I think). The two metro stops are not too near (especially
when you're carrying a 20 kilo bag) but there is also a bus stop very much nearer. The room was clean, the hostel gave us a double bed as we asked. The only
problem was that the bathroom had no window. We didn't find the room noisy although it faced the street. Breakfast was not very various but baguettes were really good,
jam was ok and there were plenty of drinks: coffee, tea, milk, orange juice and chocolate (which finished very early because it was delicious!) and the guy who
prepared it was very kind and willing to help. We never used the kitchen but it seemed clean although it was very small. We enjoyed our stay very much and
wish to come back if we'll return to Paris.
