Like staying with your family.
Very home-like and welcoming. The staff are dynamite, very hard-working, friendly, and helpful. It was like staying with your favorite cousins! The large smoking lounge with a coal fire on cool evenings is tops, and the tv room had plenty of seating. The beds were tops, and the showers were terrific - way above your head (I'm six feet tall) and with great water pressure. I cried when we had to go home. Plenty of good company, and an eclectic mix of older and younger visitors from all over the world. Best place I stayed during my 10 day sojourn in Ireland!
