Clean, spacious, but annoying TV.
This hostel is bright and clean, has spacious dorms, individual showers, friendly and very helpful staff, internet access and serves a modest
breakfast. It is very convenient for the bus station and city, with a fabulous pub, the Celt, just round the corner. It has a common area that
combines kitchen, dining, smoking and TV in several adjoining rooms, but this area is located in the dungeon, miles from everywhere else.
The TV is irritating as it's always on. Minor niggles included: no hooks in shower rooms, no plugs in washbasins, and toilets that were fixed
too close to washbasins to sit. The kitchen, which closes early, also had no plugs for the sink, and have you ever tried eating cereal from a
dinner plate? Security is good, but the room key system is rather ineffective.
