Steer clear of this place!
I stayed here in September of 2000 and unless they've had a complete rennovation and hired a new staff I would steer clear! Although
the location and common room were nice the grungy rooms, filthy bathrooms, rude staff, and bed bugs were enough to make me regret staying
here. I've traveled all around the world and stayed in some nasty places but this is still the worst place I've ever stayed.
Big but still has character.
I strolled into Isaac's to a full common room and live music playing and knew I was staying at a quality hostel. This huge
hostel somehow retains a certain charm and casual atmosphere. The security here is excellent with room keys, a safe,
luggage lock-up, and a guy at the door after 11pm. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The beds are a bit
lumpy, and the pillows a bit small, but a decent night's sleep can be had. The kitchen and bathrooms are spotless,
though the showers have those annoying puss-button things. It's 1 minute away from the bus station, so it's a great
place to stay if you have to leave early or arrive into town late. The staff are very friendly and helpful to boot!
