Great staff, interesting area.
A '5' for social scene is because it is in a 'flashpoint' area of Belfast and some travellers might enjoy getting up close and
personal with the troubles. It is on the entrance to a fiercely working class Loyalist neighbourhood, so the pubs might not
be as welcoming to Catholic travellers - as I found out. The only thing that kept me from getting beat up or worse was the fact
that I was female. It is in a very good location for seeing Belfast, however, and the staff are all starts. It's a very noisy hostel, so
earplugs are highly advised if you're planning on sleeping.
