Dark and dingy and lacking in security.
The corridors were barely lit and the rooms were not much better. There was not enough light to read your guidebook without
damage to your eyes. There was no security other than having to wave your blue slip as you walked past the front office but if the
staff member was not at the desk, anyone could walk in. The rooms were not locked at all. The cleanliness was not so great and there
was nowhere to hang your clothes in the shower room. There staff were mostly friendly but could have been more help in answering
questions. The best thing about this hostel was the fantastic location. Right across from Waverly Train Station and in the heart of
Princes Street. Easy access to restaurants, sights and transport. As a signle female travelling by myself I would not choose to stay in
this hostel again.
