A great place to meet people.
Don't you hate arriving in a foreign city and having to work out what you're going to see, what you're going to do and then feel a little embarrassed about having to go and check out the night life on your own? (if you're travelling solo and haven't met any cool travel buddy's yet) There is also the safety factor to consider!

Well fear no more! If you want to go to Barcelona, I totally recommend the Gothic Point Hostel in the Bari Gotic area in Barcelona... they have organised walking tours every day - and amazing nights out organised for the evenings - including a smashed pub crawl, a tapas night, where you can go to a traditional tapas bar, a flamenco bar and then check out some awesome clubs.

The staff are super friendly as are all of the guests! The only downside, is the number of beds in the dorm rooms, and it can be a bit noisy if party animals come back rather drunk after a big night out - but you get a lot of privacy - a curtain divider around your bed and lock box and there is a toilet in each room.
