Fun place in a beautiful setting.
If Balmer's is a frat boy's dream, then Funny Farm is the pothead's dream. This place is ultra laid back, due in large part to the smoking of pot by what seems like everyone! They even grow it in the backyard. They've got a great pool, a really nice outdoor area with loads of places to sit, an outdoor cafe, a small outdoor bar, and volleyball and table tennis as well. The dorms are nothing special, but clean and comfy enough. There's an indoor TV room with comfy couches, and this is where you may end up sleeping if you arrive in busy season. They don't really bother too much about bookings, and claim to be able to fit anyone in. If you blend in with his place's culture, you'll probably be too out of it to care where you sleep anyways. I went when they had a tequila party on in the hotel bar in front of the hostel. I was awaken at about 9am the following morning to find myself being carried down the stairs, outside, and to the pool... to be thrown in. Not the nicest wakeup call... I think the staff were still drunk. Had a really good time here, but the liver didn't do so well.
