Places to go in Europe

With many diverse countries crammed into such a small place, Europe has lots to offer, even if you're short on time. My intention isn't to reinvent the guidebook, but to give a very rough list of the major things to do in each country and to give you a push in the right direction for your own research.

I've tried to add some of the things that I did and really enjoyed as well that might not be on most people's 'to do' lists but might be worth a look if you've got the time. First hand advice is the best so if you've got a great place you want to share, let me know at travoholiceuro@yahoo.com.

Festivals & Events
There are so many things to see in Europe from art galleries to museums to famous landmarks that you might forget to take a few days out of your busy schedule for the most important thing - the parties! There are festivals and major events going on all year round and a trip to Europe will be far more fun if you try to fit a few of them in.
