Australians
Australians have the most options for obtaining legal work visas in a variety of European countries. This is because the Australian government has a very welcoming attitude towards working holiday makers from Europe and, as the program tends to be reciprocal, this opens lots of doors for the globetrotting Aussies.

Below is a summary of the countries where Aussies can seek working holiday visas. Fees and supports funds mentioned are in Australian funds unless otherwise stated.

Britain

Australians between 17 - 30 who have not previously held a working holiday visa in the UK. There are no work restrictions and the visa is valid for 2 years.

Sweden

Australians between 18 - 30 who have a return air ticket and proof of insurance cover for the duration of your stay. This visa is valid for one year but work may only be undertaken for 90 days.

Unmarried Australians between 18 - 30. The visa is valid for 3 months but may be extended for up to a year upon application.

Denmark
