South Africans
South Africans get pretty screwed over when it comes to teh world of visas. Not only are there very few work options, but getting tourist visas for European countries is also tricky and expensive making travelling around difficult.

Britain

South Africans between the ages of 17 and 30 are able to get a 2 year visa.

It costs £85 and can be obtained directly from the British High Commission. You can also go through SASTS who will simplify the process but charge a lot more.

No set amount but enough for 2 months after arrival.


Ireland

South Africans between the ages of 18 and 30 who are full time students are eligible for a 6 month work visa to Ireland.

You must apply through SASTS. The program fee is R3750.
