Friendly, clean working hostel.
Many working hostels end up a bit of a tip as people tend to stop there far too long but here it was different. The hostel is two converted queenslanders(houses) the houses sort of become families. Dawn, Glen and Jeff the owners and managers together with the huskies help you find work and give you lifts in the minibus or provide hire vechicles. The hostel comes complete with pool, video room, TV room. The residents usually get together for nights out down Ayr and there is a real rivalry between the two hostels in town, most of the time this is good humored. So ever going through Ayr call in.
