Fun, relaxed and very clean.
This is a great place to stay, especially if you want more of a relaxed atmosphere and want to work. I just have the same to say as Kirsty below. The power to the tv and music downstairs no longer goes off at 11pm, but the outside lights do. This is not really a problem though, and it is just for the benefit for the people trying to sleep in the rooms that overlook the the outside areas. Because the hostel is an old house, it does not have the impersonal clinical feel of other bigger places. It is extremely clean (I worked there for 8 weeks and so I know how tight Judy is on cleanliness). I really enjoyed the atmosphere there. It is a home away from home and much better than the larger more impersonal hostels.
