A bit feral, but fun.
The hostel is actually comprised of several individual huts, two large tents, and a campsite with a main
building for reception, a nightclub, a kitchen, and a bar. There are communal toilets and a kitchen, but
the kitchen is grossly under-equipped for the over 100 people that must fit into the hostel. The staff
are easy to find intheir bright orange t-shirts and are generalyl friendly, some being travellers and
some being snooty locals. The $10 BBQ is really good and can be had on Fridays or Sundays. All of the
huts have keys, but the tents obviously don't. Our toilet was shooting water out of the side, and I don't
think my room was thorougly cleaned in the week I was there. The hostel is in Horseshoe Bay where all the
action is, but is a short walk from the shops and the beach. The long picnic tables on the patio are great
for meeting people, and I had a really fun time there. The beds and pillows in my hut were really comfy, but
the nightclub music blares until 2am.
