Harvest work can be picking, packing, planting, stripping, thinning, or sorting fruit, veggies, or even nuts. It's usually hard work, but usually a really good learning experience, too. It's something you'd never do at home, and a good way to make money while seeing parts of Australia you'd never have seen, and meeting locals you'd never have dreamed of meeting... many of them very odd.
