Harvest Work - Seasons
Harvest work is seasonal, and most places in Australia only have work avaiable for a few months out of
the year. Because of the amount of harvest work around, and the different months of seasonality
throughout the country, it's possible to follow the seasons while working your way around Australia for
a full year.
There are many lists out that help you determine where there's harvest work in Australia in any given
month. TNT publish a harvest guide in their free magazine, and Employment National has a phone
hotline and also publish lits of their own. Some EN offices can be more helpful than others. In
Shepparton, Victoria, the office arranged work for people on farms all over Victoria, but in Fremantle,
Western Australia, they didn't want to know you.
I've done my best to summarize all the lists and books I've come across to make a list for where to go
for work in each state, when to go, and what type of work you can expect to be doing.
